Here at Skyline and Doitforcharity there’s nothing we like more than hearing about the personal reasons behind the undertaking of a charity challenge and just how much supporters enjoy the experience!
In April this year the awesomely brave Jennie took to the skies to raise funds for a cause very close to her heart – the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Here’s Jennie having the time of her life in the air!
and perhaps realising the magnitude of what she’s just done! woohoo!
“Doing a skydive may seem like a mad idea but it was the most amazing and best thing I have ever done! Jumping for MND I found that people were very generous as I was “very brave” and many people are too scared. Doing it for MND meant so much as I lost my Dad to this cruel disease. I know he would have loved to have done it too. I thought about him as I jumped and was saying ‘If you can get through MND with a smile, Dad, then jumping out of a plane is easy!'”
Jumping from a plane is an incredible experience and a superbly ballsy way to raise funds for your chosen cause. If you’d like to jump for charity take a look here http://www.skylineparachuting.co.uk
GO ON, find out why the birds sing!
