If you are struggling to stay focused with your training, take a look at our 4 tips to give you a boost!
- Take small steps
Each person has their own methods of staying on track with their challenges. If you are struggling, and find the thought of a gruelling 12 week training programme intimating, plan your training by the week. Breaking it down into manageable phases and setting mini goals will help keep you focused.
2. Had a bad weekend?
Don’t let a bad weekend turn into a bad week or month. We all have days where we skip our training, but the important thing is to start a fresh the next day by getting straight back into it. We are all allowed a day off but don’t let it affect your training for a long period of time!
- Get a buddy
If you are finding it difficult to motivate yourself to get out there and train, try pairing up with a friend. Together you can boost each other’s confidence and morale whilst creating a social side to your workouts, making it more enjoyable for the both of you.
- Keep it fun
As soon as your training becomes too strict with no flexibility, you will begin to dread it. Join some clubs so you can keep it social and fun, the more you enjoy it the more you will do it!
Keep on going with your training – it will all be worth it 🙂
