5 things you need to know about…London’s LARGEST Superhero Run!

Whether you have already signed up for London’s LARGEST Superhero Run or you are still considering booking your place – check out our top 5 things that you need to know about this Spring run!

Dress as your Favourite Hero

Okay, so the clue is in the name of the event – but whether you will dress to impress in your own costume as Batman or Supergirl or a hero of your choice, or would rather pick up your FREE costume that we provide on the day to each runner; every hero is welcome!! From Superman to Wonder Woman, we can’t wait to see a spectacular array of heroes as they all come together for this highly talked-about event!

Fancy Dress Competition

For those heroes that do decide to come in their own costumes, we will be running a fancy dress competition for adults, children and even our four-legged friends. This will take place before the main run itself, so if you think that you have a costume that will stand out and WOW us, make sure you get down to the event in plenty of time so our team can spot and enter you!

It’s not a Race

One of the great attractions of this event is that it is not a race. You can take it as slow and steady as you like, or whizz around the course in true Superhero style – it’s completely up to you! This is perfect for first timers but also a great training opportunity for those who are preparing for longer distances. Simply pick your pace and enjoy the day! This run is also wheelchair/buggy/ dog-friendly too, we just request that you start at the back.

Free Kids Run

We can’t forget about our little heroes!! We will be holding a free mini-run for children 8 years and below where they will have their own chance to unleash their superpowers as they whizz round the 200meters – and there’s no registration necessary! They too will receive their very own medal to congratulate them on their impressive efforts.

Over 100 charities Represented on theDay

The energy and atmosphere that is created on the day would not be the same if it wasn’t for our awe-inspiring charities that are involved! Over 100 charities are represented on the day with the main beneficiaries of the event being Mind, The Brompton Fountain, UK Sepsis Trust and Pan Asian Women’s Society. Any of our listed charities for this event would be delighted if you decided to run for them – take a look at our charity list here.

Now you are in the know about our Superhero Run – will you be joining us?! Sign up today as a solo runner and make friends with fellow heroes on the day or get a group of friends, family or colleagues together and give Suicide Squad a run for their money! Head to our website here.
